Very "fresh" on the nose with loads of tropical fruit flavour. Mangoes and rambutan come to mind. Would buy again but want to try a load more as well. What a dilemma! Gerald F. Mon Apr 16 18:21:00 UTC 2012 My review from when I recieved a taster of this many months ago is below & I've added little (except half a point) now I've drunk it again! A lovely lemon colour in the glass with a nose of nectarine & gooseberries. The taste is very crisp & dry but not overly acidic & for me has passion fruit & sweet apple in the mix. This goes really well with seafood & cuts through any cream sauce very well. For drinking on its own I'd make a suggestion though, let it warm a little. At the very cool 'straight out of the fridge' stage it has a little bitter aftertaste that disappears entirely once it's warmed a little, 10 degrees seemed perfect in the evening sun! Geoff F. A really interesting wine On first sip I got a real hint of melon; on the second a lovely grassy taste. We had it with spicy prawn pasta and it went down very well. Will definitely be ordering again. The first sip was promisingly fruity and not too dry but I found as the glass wore on, it was getting quite acidic. Colin S. Steve is pretty spot on with his review. It screams passion fruit at you when you take a niff but is wonderfully balanced in the mouth. Hint of sweetness with acidity and clean finish. Really came alive with scallops. Nathan M. I really liked this wine. I won't try and pick out the flavours but just think of the best New Zealand Sauvignons and you get the idea. It has a wonderful aroma that doesn't disappoint when you taste. Full of tropical flavours that seems to have a touch of sweetness but still manages to have a wonderfully dry medium length finish. I love dry wines but hate acidity and here this wine wins again, a super dry finish but without any harsh acidity. The official description seems spot on, Pure, Clean, Fresh.
