 A bit 'oaky' for me but nice enough. i like my wine a little sweeter. Perfect for the dry white wine drinkers though :-) Nicola W. The touch of oak gives it an added dimension, as it is not overpowering the fruit but complementing it. At 13.5% abv, some might shy away, but I hope not as it really is a lovely wine. Barry W. Before I start I would like to add a disclaimer... if you are looking for how it looked in the glass, what was its aroma and did it taste like lychees then move on, this review isn’'t for you. If you want to know what this wine is like on a Friday night after a hard week of a normal soul's life then read on.... What more do you want at the end of the week than a sympathetic ear, someone to relate to and to listen to all your problems. We start of with the sympathetic ear, as you sip away you think of all the things that have upset you so much this week that you are still brooding over on Friday night...never mind says Redemption, I understand, its not really fair what you have to cope with. I’ll tell you what, fill me up again and tell me some more. What an offer.. how can I refuse, I fill up and move to the next stage. we understand each other now and redemption is a real friend, I can tell it anything and it doesn't judge me but it just offers to help. Fill me up again it says and I will help you forget this terrible week, in fact never mind this week I can offer you Redemption for all of time. What an offer.. how can I refuse. I fill up and move onto the next stage. Its now more of a two way process, the wine has carried me this far but now I begin to appreciate its qualities. Its not intimidating but has a depth and strength to see me through the night. It is not suddenly going to give up on me and I know I can trust it to see me to the end of the night. I let it a little closer, giving away my secrets and desires but who cares, this is a real friend and we understand each other... The night is nearly over and it knows its work is done and as the last of the bottle slips away, I feel it has done a wonderful job of easing my troubles and I know have found redemption for tonight. Redemption is never cheap but this is surely a bargain? Redemption..how apt at the end of the week. Jock you are a genius. Jock - well done two excellent whites added to the Naked portfolio at bargain price points. I think I will need to stock up now as something as good as this can't last michael k.
