Nicely textured and balanced acidity. Really good, long blackberry finish with inky depths. Highly drinkable and a nice match with a beef/mushroom/tomato pasta dish enlivened with Worcester Sauce. Andrew B. Really good wine. Fantastic bramble fruits accompanied by a dry bitter finish. Tannins nicely balanced with good fruit. Highly recommended. Andrew S. mmm a very yummy wine, best drunk when up to temperature as a slight bitterness on the palette when it was cold. A mixture of berries / leather and spice on the nose (with some alcohol). A lovely plumy taste with mellow well-balanced tannins. A wine that goes down very easily with or without food. Another firm favourite to add to the growing list! Francesca J. Michael S. Simon H.
